There is one very plain and simple reason/comment/concern - in no way shape or form should a dumping facility be placed this close of proximity to any town and place of residence.

The sole reason for York1's proposal to repurpose an existing landfill site north of Dresden is to try and circumvent the normal applications and permitting process that would be required for a more optimal location.

This site is not suitable for what York1 wants. The natural waterways that flow in to the Sydenham river contain many species at rick. It is in a flood plain area and the permits are outdated. It also is only 1 I’m from a beautiful historic town. No one can drive without a up to date licence.

The enviromental issues being this close to the community WILL have impacts on peoples health, livlihood and industry.
Impacts on our waterway and protected endangered species in rivers will be catastrophic and irrepairable.

A megadump in this area could have dangerous affects on our Natural Waterways and all the protected animals that live in them. Please re-think this whole ridiculous idea
Why are you choosing PRISTINE farm land?? Land that is used for agricultural food production. There are lands else where that would be suitable for this project. The environment will be affected with the emissions from the truck traffic, plus the air quality for us the residents in the area.

The landfill should not be allowed to expand so close to two different water sources. There are multiple endangered species inhabiting the Sydenham. To allow this expansion would be irresponsible and reckless.
