This proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval No. 8-5042-93-947 (air and noise) issued to C. VILLENEUVE CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD., a mobile asphalt facility in Ontario.
The application includes all sources at the facility, including:
- cold feed bins with conveyors for raw material loading
- reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) bin and RAP conveyor for optional raw material loading
- drum mixer with burner and associated baghouse
- baghouse dust trailer (enclosed)
- asphalt cement (AC) tank(s) and associated heater(s)
- hot mix asphalt (HMA) conveyor and associated HMA silo for product load-out; and
- two diesel generators
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- nitrogen oxides
- sulphur dioxide
- carbon monoxide
- acetone
- benzene
- benzo(a)pyrene
- butane, and
- carbon dioxide
