I am citizen in Waterloo Region and I am furious that this PC Government keeps coming back to strip us of our very rich, very much needed farmland and to put our natural groundwater filtration locations at high risk. Waterloo Region consulted extensively on our Long Range, 30 year plan. Read more

The citizens of the Region of Waterloo worked long and hard on an Official Plan for the Region. This plan emphasized not using our farmland to develop on and that there was enough land available to develop. The citizens of the Region value our farmland, it is some of the best farmland in Canada. Read more

Do not allow any kind of development on the water recharge areas of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. We are fortunate to service all our residents and businesses with ground water; hence, saving the expense of building a pipeline from one of our lakes to bring in water. Read more
