This Proposed amendments to the Official Plan Adjustments Act, 2023 would, if passed, should include an update official plans in response to municipal feedback while protecting the Greenbelt, and safeguarding public health and safety.
In Dresden Ontario, Molly's Creek and The Sydenham river should also be considered a green belt too,
with the over 33 endangered and species at risk and the Carolinian Forest that is found no where else in Ontario.
This agricultural / environmental region that grown Ontario food should NOT have a dump right in the middle of it all, because you will end up poisoning your own food that all Ontario consumes.
This entire region should be considered a region which NO landfill dump should ever be put in.
This amendment should include Chatham Kent, Molly's Creek and the Sydenham River because we would rather build homes here in this historic town, rather than putting the largest Landfill in Canada on this historic spot that is open 24 hours 7 days a week, only 500 meters, from town line, homes and schools and the environmental paradise that is Molly's Creek, and The Sydenham river.
BILL 197 should be triggered when you put in a NEW Landfill based on an Old ERO, to a closed fly ash landfill that 40 year old was never meant for such toxic asbestos and waste materials, turned gun range .... something is very wrong with this idea.
