Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the "get it done" act. Schedule 3 compromises Official Plans. It causes serious divisions between municipalities as they pursue self interest at the expense of neighbouring municipalities. Read more

I am extremely concerned with the short sighted plan to allow development outside of the current Region of Waterloo regional plan. Allowing lower level governments to expand their borders will have negative impacts on our water supply. Read more

I would like to register my opposition to this act. Yes, we need more housing, but municipalities should be required to use brownfield sites and greenfield sites within their existing boundaries before extending boundaries.

Please reconsider this bill. We live in a time when the opportunity to slow our deadly effect on the environment is short. The 407 is under-utilised. A reduction in the toll would be so much more cost-efficient than a new highway. Read more

I am opposed to Bill 162, the so-called "Get it Done Act." We must protect farmland, forests, river valleys and wetlands. Municipalities and their official plans have lands already set aside for housing development. Read more
