I am concerned with the noise pollution and air quality if York 1 proposal goes thru . We are not 1 km from proposed landfill site for this, it never should have gone this far. Stop York 1 and shut this down. A complete environmental assessment needs to be done
I feel the approach York 1 is taking using a dormant dumping site that would allow them to side step the environmental assessment is incredibly shady. This site was never meant to sustain the capacity of garbage they are proposing for this site. Plus the infastructure surrounding it wasn't either.

I would like to express my concerns about this proposal. First of all, the site on Irish School road was a designated a landfill back in the 1970’s. At that time it was the town of Dresdens solution to disposing of the ash from the incinerator that was used for the towns trash.

I'm sorry, but these proposals for York1 seems like a No Brainer to NOT allow these proposals to go through on a well known Flood Zone that Dresden Ontario is.
for close to 100 years this entire area of Dresden is known for its famous flooding.

This is not a safe place for a dump.
The town and waterways are too close. All residents and the environment will be affected in negative ways.

A full complete environmental assessment must be done. There is concern that the clay on this location is not suitable for a landfill. The clay was also removed on site to make clay tiles, so the amount of clay is questionable
A full EA should the minimum required from York 1 for this proposal. The community of Dresden and surrounding areas would prefer it be rejected completely and not permitted at this location at all.

Not okay. Way too close to the town of Dresden. Environmental impact needs to really be taken into consideration here along with the quality of life for residents in surrounding areas.
Please demand a full environmental assessment. Surely the lives of an entire community is worth it. There is so much at risk here.
