Decision details

The application for consent 60-C-238609 was draft approved on October 18, 2024, subject to conditions.

The application was reviewed for consistency with the environmental policies of the Provincial Policy Statement (e.g. natural heritage, water quality protection). No public comments were received.

Conditions include a site specific hydrogeological assessment and a consent agreement for resource-based recreational use only.

The decision to approve the consent is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement once conditions are met. This decision will not have a significant impact on the environment.

The applicants have two years to satisfy conditions of draft approval, otherwise approval will lapse. The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before November 7, 2024.

Proposal details

The purpose of application 60-C-238609 is for the creation of one (1) of two (2) new resource-based recreational use lots on PIN 42180-2612. Proposed lot 2 will have an area of 0.341 hectares, with ~100 metres of road frontage and is comprised of partial lots 190 & 191 on Plan M-222. The land is currently vacant with a proposed septic system and a well for servicing.
