This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) to be issued to Camp Can-Aqua Inc. for the installation of a proposed subsurface sewage disposal systems to service a new Dining Hall sewage system and a replacement medical Centre/ Office sewage system along with multiple existing sewage systems of the youth camp, Camp Can'Aqua, located at 503 Beaver Lake Drive, in the Municipality of Highlands East, Ontario.
The theoretical design sewage flow for the entire site is 24,325 liters per day, and the proposed sewage works include oil/grease interceptor, septic tanks equipped with an effluent filter, a pump tank; and subsurface leaching beds with associated plumbing and electrical.
