Ontario Power Generation Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for industrial stormwater management works serving Ontario Power Generation Inc., located at 1 Holt Road South in Bowmanville, Ontario.

The stormwater management works are associated with the proposed development of a permanent storage area for surplus soil from site excavation and construction activities from the Darlington New Nuclear Project.

The stormwater management works comprises of stormwater quality control, quantity control, and erosion control works, and include perimeter ditches and enhanced swales around the spoils pile, and an end-of-pipe dry pond, with discharge to Darlington Creek.
