The amendment includes excavating, drilling, blasting, loading, crushing, conveying, screening, stockpiling, and shipping aggregates as well as hot mix asphalt production.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • acetaldehyde
  • ethylbenzene
  • toluene
  • xylenes
  • lead
  • nitrogen oxides
  • hexavalent chromium, and
  • particulate matter
