This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0821-9H6KFZ3 for Magna Exteriors Inc., an automotive parts manufacturing and assembly facility, located at 26 Kenview Boulevard in Brampton, Ontario.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include injection moulding machines, resin storage silos, cooling towers, welding operations, and assembly and shipping operations of plastic parts.
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- particulate matter
- nitrogen oxides
- caprolactam
- acrylonitrile
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
