Proposal details
This proposal is for a New Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) for Niagara Health System to support the South Niagara Hospital and health care related services, located in the City of Niagara Falls, Ontario. This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including a sub-slab ventilation system with eight separate loops of porous pipes embedded in a granular layer below the slab, which will capture and dilute any gas emission and actively vent them to atmosphere at the roof. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- hydrogen sulphide, and
- methane gas
