Dimachem Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is for a renewal and amendment to the Limited Operational Flexibility for the Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) No. 0372-9LMKDZ for Dimachem Inc., a batch chemical manufacturer that manufactures liquid and powder cleaners, waste treatment products, metal treatment products and lubricants, located at 3258 Marentette Avenue in the City of Windsor, Ontario

The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include an evaporator, dust collector, wet scrubber, fume hood and tank vent. The amendment includes the expansion to the adjacent building for the construction of a bottling line pipeline and a warehouse. Emissions to the air from this facility include:

• chlorinated paraffins
• oxides of nitrogen
• phosphoric acid
• methoxyacetic acid
• N-Butylphosphorothioic triamide
• ammonium phosphate

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
