This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Hydro Ottawa Limited to construct new spill containment systems, to service a proposed Municipal Hydro Transformer Substation, located at 5136 Piperville Road in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

The proposed substation will include two new spill containment systems with a new oil-water separator and piping, discharging effluent to the ditches on the east and west property lines, which eventually outlet to the existing roadside ditch along the south side of Piperville Road to the north, within the South Nation/Lower Ottawa River Watershed.
