Proposal details

This proposal is for an Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Endurance Environmental Inc. for the operation of five mobile sewage works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of process water, leachate, stored water, surface water or groundwater impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons, gasoline, diesel fuel, oil, volatile organic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated and non-halogenated solvents, surfactants as well as other organic and inorganic contaminants.

The mobile sewage works will consist of a combination of one or more mobile treatment trains units per site, including electro catalytic oxidation, diffused air flotation, submerged ceramic filtration and reverse osmosis. The mobile treatment units will have a rated hydraulic capacity of up to 350 cubic metres per minute, and will operate at various sites across Ontario.

Treated effluent will be discharged, depending on the site location, to on-site storm sewers, sanitary connections or drainage ditches (where allowed by municipal by-laws), ground infiltration or infiltration gallery/wells, or into onsite or offsite water bodies. Local and municipal permits shall be obtained as applicable prior to treatment and discharge.
