Our tax dollars are being used inappropriately all for a spa. It goes against decades of work done by the City of Toronto to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. This affects our environment and the people in Toronto. Read more

I do not support the interim proposal for waste water to be discharged into Lake Ontario. If this spa project should proceed—it should be done following our environmental guidelines. No shortcuts. Shortcuts, when allowed, often are then too expensive to rectify. Read more

This is not acceptable. I’m against this proposal because it goes against the City of Toronto’s long-standing work to replace combined sewers and stop raw sewage from being dumped into Lake Ontario. It also breaks international agreements to protect water quality and habitats in the Great Lakes. Read more

Please reconsider this proposal to dump sewage into Lake Ontario. I hold out little hope that this government that is beholden and committed to corporate control cares at all what an ordinary citizen thinks, but maybe I'd enough of us speak up, you'll pay attention in view of the upcoming election.
