Evolution Mining Gold Operations Ltd. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval No. 7519-CGJGC4 issued to Evolution Mining Gold Operations Ltd. for industrial sewage works servicing the Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation - Campbell Site, located at 15 Eric Radford Way, Balmertown, Municipality of Red Lake, District of Kenora, Ontario. The proposal includes:

1. Deposition of Campbell Mill tailings into the Red Lake Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) to facilitate closure of the tailings facility at Campbell Complex;
2. An effluent pipeline from the Red Lake Complex, to transfer treated effluent, in circumstances when the effluent exceeds permitted ammonia levels, to the Campbell polishing pond and wetlands system for additional treatment and discharge to Balmer Lake through existing final effluent Campbell outlet – WETOUT;
3. Wetland expansion (pending revised Application Form to add this to the scope of proposal) to aid in ammonia treatment for consolidated tailings operation;
4. Upgrades to Campbell Mill to control the pH of mill tailings prior to discharging into in Red Lake TSF; and
5. Groundwater monitoring program update
