2634331 Ontario Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to be issued to 2634331 Ontario Inc. for the establishment of sewage works for the dewatering activities of hydrovac truck soil slurry generated from the installation of sewage works subsurface utilities located at 2884 Industrial Park Road, in Smithville, Township of West Lincoln, Ontario.

The site process involves a number of settling basins for the liquid soil/water slurry deposited by hydrovac trucks, these basins remove suspended solids using gravity separation. The removed solids (soil) are eventually removed from the settling basins and deposited on a solids drying pad, which allows for water to drain back into the system. The proposed sewage works discharge to a normally dry roadside municipal ditch alongside the Industrial Park Road within the Spring Creek Watershed.
