Miller Paving Limited - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0604-975RMV for Miller Paving Limited, for the operation of a mobile crushing plant, equipped with two crushing units and associated conveyors, two screening units and associated conveyors, and one diesel-fired engine.

This application is to replace the primary and secondary crusher, the primary and secondary screens, and the diesel-fired engine. The equipment will be used for the production of crushed aggregate materials throughout the Province of Ontario and can potentially operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, from February to December. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

• particulate matter
• respirable crystalline silica (quartz)
• nitrogen oxides
• sulphur dioxide
• carbon monoxide, and
• noise
