2160382 Ontario Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for new Class 4 onsite domestic sewage disposal works, with a daily maximum flow of 25,500 litres per day, to service the precast concrete operation at 44 Muir Line, County of Brant, Ontario.

The works are to accommodate an existing production plant, ancillary shop, and main office building, as well as accommodate a proposed building addition to the main office and projected future growth. The works are to include two (2) existing solids-removal tanks, an existing pump manhole, proposed flow equalization, proposed moving bed biofilm reactor treatment (proprietary iQ.MBBR designed/manufactured by Bergmann North America), and proposed effluent pumping to a proposed Type A bed for subsurface discharge.

The Ministry may require effluent monitoring and may impose effluent limits.
