Walker BESS 4 Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval to establish a stormwater management works system servicing proposed Almonte BESS 1 and Almonte BESS 2 lithium-ion battery storage facilities located at 6299 County Road 29, in the Township of Mississippi Mills, County of Lanark, Ontario.

The stormwater management system will consist of grassed swales around the perimeter of the BESS facilities; subdrains along the edge of the access road and gravel pad and within the perimeter swales; and a permanent rock check dam at the north-east limit of the perimeter swale where the stormwater system outlets to existing drainage on the site which eventually outlets to the municipal ditch on County Road 29 to the east, within the Cartwrights Creek Watershed.
