This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8435-9L8Q7V for Multicrete Systems Inc., a dry-mix shotcrete manufacturing facility located in the Municipality of Red Lake, Ontario.
This application is to include ready-mix concrete batching operations that will use the existing approved equipment in addition to a new aggregate hopper and conveyor.
The sources at the facility include two storage silos with associated dust collectors, one central dust collector, stockpiles, aggregate conveying, delivery, storage, and handling of materials associated with the dry-mix shotcrete process and ready-mix concrete batching process, maintenance activities, onsite vehicle fueling, and chemical storage. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- respirable crystalline silica (quartz)
- portland cement
- noise
