This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) for Woodleigh Farms Ltd., a biochar manufacturing facility, located in the Township of Cavan Monaghan, Ontario.
This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including natural gas heating equipment, storage piles, shipping, on-site traffic, woodchip screener, biochar collector and bagging system, continuous pyrolysis kiln, and one cyclone. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- carbon monoxide
- ethane
- methanol (methyl alcohol)
- nitrogen oxides
- particulate matter
- noise
