This act is wrong in dismantling the Endangered Species Act. Our wildlife seriously needs protection. The act is too wide ranging in what it considers special economic zones -and it seems that some developers would be too quickly rubber stamped to proceed. Read more

The answer is absolutely no to this whole document. If this passes, then it triggers a failsafe protection for the people living in the area and all along corridors such as roadways (but not limited to) where increased traffic or activity causes a disturbance. Read more

Bill 5 does many things, but protecting Ontario isn’t one of them. What it does is get rid of the Endangered Species Act, bypass regulations in place to protect the environment and people from, removes consultations with Indigenous groups, and gives priority to “preferred” companies. Read more
