Please say NO to the Project. The animal homes would be destroyed, and they would be subject to the toxicity of mining. The mine would also destroy the habitats of fish, birds, woodland caribou, pine martens, and plenty of other animals. Read more

I am against this proposal. There is NO good reason that the Eagles Nest Mine should be exempted from a full environmental assessment. Laws exist for a reason and need to be followed to make sure a project does not create undue damage and cost to taxpayers and the environment. Read more

The Eagle’s Nest Mine is located in the fragile Ring of Fire and it must have a full environmental assessment. The mine is threatening vital peatlands that help fight climate change. And development of the mine without this assessment would violate promises made to First Nations. Read more
