This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Arro Crushing Ltd. for the operation of a mobile crushing plant (CR5), equipped with one crusher, two screeners, and two associated diesel-fired engines.

The equipment will be used to process aggregate throughout the Province of Ontario and can potentially operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 52 weeks per year. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • particulate matter
  • respirable crystalline silica (quartz)
  • nitrogen oxides
  • sulphur dioxide, and
  • carbon monoxide
