Proposal details
Application has been made by Dufferin Aggregates, a Division of CRH Canada Group Inc. to amend the current site plan to make changes to the operational plan and final rehabilitation plan to closely integrate operations with Licence number 3450. The proposal seeks to authorize the removal of the 15 metres western licence boundary setback, shared with Licence number 3450 and modify the rehabilitation plan to create an integrated final rehabilitation across Licence number 3450 and number 15592.

The proposed request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Municipality of Clarington, Durham Region, and landowners within 120 metres of the licence boundary, for comment.
Other Information
Dufferin Aggregates, a Division of CRH Canada Group Inc. currently operates the adjacent site under the authority of licence number 15592 under the ARA. In total, 112.5 hectares are currently licensed as a pit. This amendment seeks to more closely integrate operations between the two sites, each with its own site plan.
