Proposal details
This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of year-round subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 90,000 litres per day to service a residential development of 90 (3-bedroom) homes for Hammerford Development Co. (Ballantrae) Ltd., located primarily at 15288 Highway 48, in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario.
The proposed works include an advanced membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment system and raised Type A subsurface disposal bed. The ministry may require effluent monitoring and may impose effluent limits.
