Proposal details
This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to replace the existing three Class four sewage works, with a tertiary treatment and subsurface disposal System to service a residential facility located at 362 Shanty Bay Road, Barrie, Ontario. The proposed sewage works include a Waterloo Biofilter Sewage Treatment System sized to operate with a total daily flow of 15,100 litres per day.
The proposed system is comprised of a Waterloo Biofilter designed to provide advanced nitrogen removal while also reducing total suspended solids and carbonaceous biological oxygen demand. The treated effluent discharges into two shallow buried trench bed.
