Proposal details
This proposal is to amend the existing Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) No. 5575-8URL94 issued on May 29, 2012, for approval of proposed fourteen (14) on-site subsurface sewage disposal systems, each designed and operated at a maximum capacity of 1,100 litres per day for a total combined capacity of 15,400 litres per day to service fourteen (14) proposed 2-bedroom mobile/modular homes located in New Park Section (zone 3) at the Highway Meadows year-round community.
This amendment application is for approval of existing and proposed sewage works for the treatment of sanitary sewage and subsurface disposal of treated effluent from the existing Highway Meadows year-round community located at 11981 Plank Road, R.R 6 (Tillsonburg), Municipality of Bayham, County of Elgin, rated at a total maximum daily flow of 72,598 litres per day.
This amendment application is for approval of thirty-five (35) existing, but currently unapproved, individual sewage works that the original proponent (previous owner) omitted from the previous application, and fifteen (15) new proposed individual sewage works.
Of the thirty-five (35) existing, currently unapproved sewage systems, one (1) sewage system services a recreation hall building, six (6) sewage systems service pairs (two (2) mobile homes per sewage system), and the remaining twenty-eight (28) sewage systems service one (1) mobile home per system. All thirty-five (35) existing sewage systems consist of one (1) existing septic tank and one (1) existing in-ground leaching bed or one (1) existing in-ground filter bed.
Each of the fifteen (15) new proposed individual sewage systems will service one (1) mobile home and will consist of one (1) proposed 3,600-Liter septic tank and one (1) proposed in-ground filter bed having 30 square metres of an effective area, 30 square metres of an extended contact area and 6 runs – 4.8-meter long of 75 millimetres diameter perforated PVC piping.
