This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Southwest Fence & Decks Limited for the operation of a meter-mix concrete yard facility located in the Town of Petrolia, Ontario.

This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including equipment for aggregate receiving and meter-mix truck unloading, cement powder transfer to silo storage, aggregate meter-mix truck loading, and cement powder transfer. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include: 

  • arsenic
  • beryllium
  • cadmium
  • chromium
  • lead
  • magnesium carbonate
  • nickel
  • portland cement, and
  • suspended particulate matter
