My concern for changing the present system is that the different parks and areas are very different in nature and purpose. One large governing body may not be able to keep the flavour of each park. Read more

Most stewardship funding in Ontario depends on 'Letters of Support' from local groups like Quinte, Lower Trent, Ganaraska and Cataraqui Conservation Authorities. Those support letters almost always require a site visit. Read more

Amalgamating conservation authorities across the province will result in reduced oversight and poor management of the resources. Has history taught us nothing? Every amalgamation of government entities has resulted in lower service levels. Read more

Please leave the Niagara region alone. We have different priorities to those other regions. It’s import to most people in the Niagara region to protect and maintain the region. We don’t need over development here!
