This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Beyond Pet and Equine Cremation Inc., an animal cremation facility, located in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, Ontario.

This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including:

  • one private cremation natural gas-fired incinerator
  • two medium animal cremation natural gas-fired incinerators
  • one large animal cremation natural gas-fired incinerator, and
  • a diesel generator

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • nitrogen oxides
  • particulate matter
  • chromium compounds
  • mercury
  • benzo(a)pyrene
  • hydrogen chloride, and
  • hydrogen fluoride
