This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 2619-B6CSM9 for Olybro Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of Olymel S.E.C./Olymel L.P., a poultry processing facility, located in the City of Brampton, Ontario.

This application is for revising the proposed noise controls in the Noise Abatement Action Plan (NAAP), including the replacement of equipment, and installing acoustic blankets and a silencer.

The sources at the facility include:

  • air-cooled condensers
  • cooling towers
  • HVACs
  • exhaust and supply fans
  • ventilation louvres, and
  • on-site transport trucks

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • nitrogen oxides
  • particulate matter, and
  • noise
