Proposal details

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Fenzi North America Inc., an insulated glass sealant and coatings manufacturing facility, located in Etobicoke, within the City of Toronto, Ontario.

This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere from the polysulphide production line and a hotmelt production line including:

  • mixers
  • knock-out pots equipped with demisters
  • a condenser unit
  • an outdoor chiller, and
  • two baghouse dust collectors

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • aluminum oxide
  • calcium carbonate
  • crystalline silica
  • silicon oxide, and
  • polyisobutylene
