This proposal is for an amendment to the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0040-B6KL6T for 2575639 Ontario Inc. for the operation of an automotive part surfacing coating facility, located in the City of Brampton, Ontario.
The sources at the facility include general exhausts serving the E-coating tanks, the curing oven exhaust, and the cooling tunnel exhaust. This application is to increase the production capacity of the facility to 2,900, 000 cubic metres per year. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- butanol
- ethyl hexanol
- sulphur dioxides, and
- nitrogen oxides
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
