The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for industrial on-site sewage treatment works serving Morrison Family Homestead Inc., located at 760 Bruce Road 86, in Lucknow, within the Township of Huron-Kinloss.
The proposal consists of a new on-site sewage treatment and disposal system to service a proposed frozen pizza manufacturing facility, along with an outdoor event venue for food and entertainment purposes.
The sewage works are designed for an average daily design flow of 3,200 litres per day, with storage capacity to accommodate a peak flow of 6,650 litres per day. The system consists of a balancing tank, septic tank, and fill-based leaching bed.
The property contains a variety of existing uses, and the total peak daily sewage generation for all uses on the site is 12,300 litres per day.
