This application is for a new ECA for a proposed on site septic system designed to service 200 greenhouse workers living in bunkhouses on site, plus an allowance for 25 local staff.
The septic system is designed for a peak flow of 52,000 litres per day and includes pre-treatment tanks and tertiary treatment units with ultraviolet disinfection to be discharged to Lane Drain on the east side of Graham Side Road. Lane drain is a municipal drain which conveys stormwater southerly and ultimately discharges to Lake Erie.
