This proposal is for an amendment to the Environmental Compliance Approval No. 8277-ABTHF4 (industrial sewage) for Imperial Oil Limited.
This amendment application is to establish a new sulphate effluent discharge criteria at 225 Concession 2, Walpole Haldimand County, Ontario.
The proposed sewage works consist of adding treated effluent discharge from a new caustic scrubber to the existing wastewater treatment facility and revising the existing discharge criteria of the downstream outfall. The sewage will ultimately discharge to Lake Erie.
