Proposal details

This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 3784-B9TSW9 issued to Norfolk Disposal Services Limited that operates a waste disposal and processing facility at 811 Old Highway 24, Norfolk, Ontario. This amendment is to account for the following changes:

  • addition of source separated organics (SSO) storage and transfer process up to 30 tonnes/day, inclusion of odour from new SSO process
  • addition of all buildings not previously permitted on the site, including the new recycling building and associated equipment

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • nitrogen oxides
  • solvent naphtha (petroleum) medium
  • ligroine
  • mineral spirits, and
  • particulate matter
