This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for the removal of the existing septic system and the installation of a new septic system at Conestogo Lake cottage lot 555 Road 5A in the Township of Mapleton, Ontario.
The proposed system is sized to operate at a daily flow of 1,750 litres per day and includes a Waterloo Biofilter Anaerobic digester (septic tank), a pumping chamber discharging to a treatment unit tank. The dispersal pump in the treatment unit tank will direct treated effluent to a shallow buried trench dispersal bed consisting of a minimum of 35 meters of pressurized dispersal pipe arranged in two runs of 18.3 metres each run.
