Henry Company Canada, Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (air)

This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 3298-AKFSCX for Henry Company Canada, Inc., a manufacturing facility that produces roofing, water-proofing and air barrier product, located in Petrolia, Ontario.

This proposal includes all emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the atmosphere including the storage and handling of raw materials, manufacturing of roofing, waterproofing and air barrier products, packaging, storage, handling and shipping of finished products including the equipment and any other ancillary and support processes and activities.

Emissions to the atmosphere from this facility include:

• hydrogen sulphide
• nitrogen oxides
• particulate matter
• silica, and
• asphalt

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
