This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 1984-BD9NBD, issued to Southgate Renewables GP Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of Southgate Renewables LP, an anaerobic digester facility located at 160 Eco Parkway, Dundalk, Ontario.

This amendment is for modifications to the biofilter, boilers, biogas upgrading system, flare and pressure relief valve and the removal of combined heat and power co-generation unit.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • nitrogen oxides
  • sulphur dioxide
  • carbon dioxide
  • methane
  • carbon monoxide
  • total reduced sulphur, and
  • odour

Proposal Reference Number 5951-DRLHYZ was submitted in conjunction with proposal Reference Number 8261-DR9SEL.
