This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of year round subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 1,600 litres per day, to service a residential cottage located on Conestogo Lake, at 1113 Road 11 North, in the Township of Mapleton, Ontario.
The proposed works consist of a new tertiary Class 4 system including an anaerobic digester (septic tank) with an internal pump chamber discharging to two Waterloo Biofilter Flat Bed Treatment Units installed on a Type A Dispersal Bed. The Ministry may require effluent monitoring and may impose effluent limits.
