Why consultation isn't required
The Methuen Township Marble Project is an undertaking subject to the Environmental Assessment Act. This proposed Category B project is being carried out in accordance with the Class Environmental Assessment for Activities under the Mining Act. Consultation will be completed in accordance with requirements of the Class Environmental Assessment.
Bulletin details
The material, marble, will be tested at Masonal Stone Incorporated in Milverton Ontario.
Extraction of the material is proposed to be done using drilling and explosives. The rock will be processed via saw, guillotine, and crushing and then loaded onto trucks and transported for testing and inspection purposes.

You are invited to provide input and express any concerns about this proposed project. Comments must be received within 30 days of the date of posting.
