Proposal details
This proposal is for an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) for DSLR Inc. for a waste transfer and processing facility. This site is a 6.07 hectare property located in the City of Thorold, Regional Municipality of Niagara.
The facility will blend silicon carbide, used commercially as an abrasive sand, with aluminum fines to produce a valuable additive used in the formulation of cement. Approximately 76,000 tonnes of material are proposed to be blended on Site. The total site capacity is requested at 90,000 tonnes.
The servicing area is the Province of Ontario. The facility will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
