A change to ARA Licence No. 626709 was approved by the Director on August 14, 2026
The approval allows 1851477 Ontario Inc. to increase the number of tonnes of aggregate that may be removed in a calendar year from 10,000 tonnes annually to 20,000 tonnes annually. This increase addresses the higher demand for aggregates in the area.

Effects of consultation
Zero comments were received in response to the Environmental Registry notice.
Comments were received through the ARA consultation process. The concerns were related to road safety, traffic increase, noise and dust increase, possible road deterioration, wildlife and water impact.
The concerns were addressed by revisions to the final approved copy of conditions on the licence and by providing additional information and proposing mitigation measures.
