Infrastructure Intelligence Services Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage) for Infrastructure Intelligence Services Inc., for two mobile sewage treatment units operating at various locations across Ontario.

Each Mobile Treatment Unit (MTU) will collect, transmit, and treat contaminated process water, leachate, stored water, surface water, and/or groundwater impacted with Petroleum Hydrocarbons (PHCs), gasoline, diesel fuel, oil, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), halogenated and non-halogenated solvents, surfactants as well as other organic and inorganic contaminants. Each MTU will operate up to 3,785 liters per minute (1,000 gallons per minute) continuous flow, and may be comprised of a settling/separation system, oil/water separator system, flocculation system, sand filters system, bag filtration system, organoclay filtration system, Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filtration system, activated alumina filter system, ozone system, and ancillary equipment such as pumps, flow meters/regulators, pressure gauges, and sample ports.

The Ministry may require monitoring of the industrial wastewater effluent discharge leaving the site(s).
