Proposal details
This proposal is for an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site), for a non-hazardous solid waste transfer and process facility. The site is a 4.8 hectare property located in the City of Greater Sudbury.
The facility will receive non-hazardous domestic, industrial, commercial, and institutional waste. Incoming waste will only be accepted from the City of Greater Sudbury, any waste from other municipalities or sources will be refused. The maximum quantity of waste deliver to the site on any given day would be 200 tonnes, and 156,000 tonnes annually.
This facility will primarily be open from 5:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., six days a week, to accept incoming materials and for processing. Additional hours may be scheduled in the evening to accommodate indoor sorting and loading operations.
