This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Teeswater Concrete Ltd., a permanent ready-mix plant located in the Municipality of Huron East, Ontario.

This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including accepting deliveries of raw sand and gravel aggregate and formulates ready-mix concrete with the addition of water, additives, slag, Portland cement for shipping off-site in trucks, and two dust collectors.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • particulate matter
  • calcium carbonate
  • calcium oxide
  • calcium sulfate, and
  • portland cement
